Izabella Scorupco , born Izabella Dorota Skorupko (born June 4, 1970 in Białystok [ 1 ] ) is a Polish-Swedish actress, singer , and model . She has played leading female roles in films such as GoldenEye (1995), With Fire and Sword (1999), Reign of Fire (2002), and The Exorcist: The Beginning (2004).

Early years
She was born in Białystok , the daughter of Magdalena and Lech Skorupka. Her mother was a doctor, and her father (d. 1992) was a jazz musician. [ 2 ] When she was one year old, her parents divorced. In 1978, she moved to Sweden with her mother . [ 3 ]

Acting career
When she was 17, she was noticed by Swedish director Staffan Hildebrand , who cast her in the melodrama Nobody Loves Like Us ( Ingen kan älska som vi , 1988) [ 4 ] .

In 1995, she played Natalia Simonova in the 17th James Bond film, GoldenEye , starring Pierce Brosnan, making his debut as Agent 007. The role brought her international recognition.

She played Helena Kurcewiczówna in Jerzy Hoffman's adaptation of Henryk Sienkiewicz's novel With Fire and Sword (1999) . She subsequently appeared in Hollywood productions: the action-adventure film Vertical Limit (2000) alongside Chris O'Donnell , Robin Tunney , Stuart Wilson , and Scott Glenn ; the sci-fi fantasy thriller Reign of Fire ( 2002) with Christian Bale , Matthew McConaughey , and Gerard Butler ; and the horror film Exorcist : The Beginning ( 2004) opposite James D'Arcy and Stellan Skarsgård .

Modeling career
At the age of 17, she began working for the Eileen Ford Modeling agency . [ 3 ] Her photos were published in the Italian edition of Vogue magazine , as well as in other magazines, including Frida, Cafe, Elle , Vecko Revyn, Tove, Plaza Kvinna, Glamour , and Stuff . [ 1 ] In 1999, she became the face of the Swedish cosmetics company Oriflame . In 2001, she posed nude for the Polish edition of CKM .

In Poland, she has advertised cosmetics for Oriflame and Irena Eris . Together with model Emma Wiklund, she has advertised for Lindex Lingerie, Åhléns, and Tiffany & Co. She is a co-founder of the Z Bogini clothing factory [ 3 ] .

In 2012, she co-hosted the second season of the TV3 entertainment program Top Model Sverige , in which she also served as a judge . [ 3 ]

Music career
In 1989, she recorded the single "Substitute", which sold one million copies and earned her a gold single . In 1991, she recorded her debut studio album, Iza , which was released in 1992 by Virgin Records . [ 5 ] She promoted the album with the single "Shame, Shame, Shame", for which she directed a music video. In 2011, she sang guest vocals on the song "Jag har dig nu" by Swedish singer Peter Jöback and also appeared in the song's music video . [ 6 ]

Private life
On July 14, 1996, she married hockey player Mariusz Czerkawski , with whom she has a daughter, Julia (born 1997) . [ 7 ] They divorced in 1998. On December 30, 2003, she married American PR specialist Jeffrey Reymond, with whom she has a son, Jacob Martin (born July 24, 2003). She divorced in 2015. On October 5, 2019, she married Swedish entrepreneur Karl Rosengren. She lives in Los Angeles . [ 8 ]
